208 fluid capacity

The guy at Orielly said my transfer case only took 2.5qt of fluid so that's what I put in there. Is that correct. I pulled my driveshaft out after test driving it and no fluid came out of the tails shot housing. It has me thinking there isn't rough fluid in the t case.

I've always filled mine till it came out of the upper plug hole. It's got a breather to puke out of if it's too much

Just keep adding until it starts comming out the fill hole. Then get that nut in there quick. That's what I do.

Filling the t-case until the fluid comes out is what I've always done on all my other 4x4s but I was trying to go by what I was told

Pretty sure filling till it starts coming out is the official method, same as diffs.
