Horrible low pitch whine noticed then checked the TC and it’s way over full. Trans still has fluid in it. Is that noise something I’ll have to replace in the trans too? I know I gotta pull the TC to replace the seal. Link is video on FB of it.

Can you tell if the noise is coming from the transmission?
Normally it's just the seal on the tcase input, but if it's the transmission, it's not something you can do without pulling the transmission out.

Define "horrible". Whine in low range is normal. If it does it while stationary, that's likely the transmission pump - could be stuck in high pressure. Maybe there's a safe way to have somebody else listen alongside and try to see where the noise comes from?

Word to the wise: drain the transmission fluid before you pull the T-case. Tearing the case down while it's out could help eliminate that as the cause before getting into the transmission. Your sig says "SYE", so maybe you've been through it recently, but that doesn't mean a new bearing wasn't bad or something was missed.

Turns out the water pump is the noise culprit. So now I have 2 issues. But at least they are both easier than a new transmission. @Blue85 , the SYE is in a 241 I have sitting in the garage that was waiting on the LS swap. But I have since changed plans and scored 205 to add a doubler to. So I’ll be selling the SYE241 soon.
