Yeah I know what you mean about the movement/binding issues. I bolted it solidly to the floor this weekend, the leverage just isn't enough to shift it unfortunately.
Checked the 'yards for Ford shifter boots, no luck though.

Nah, thanks, I have one, I was just hoping I could use the 208 shifter since it would cover the gaping hole in the floor.
