208 to 205 transfer case swap

Hi there,

I have just swapped the transfer case on my truck and in result, the lateral bar from the transmission to the old 208 is now about 1-2 inches too long. Would anyone know where can I find the new one or who can fabricate one for me. It goes from 700R4 to the 205. ORD guys advised that I should still have it.

The th700 never came with a 205 so you won't find a factory bar, you're going to have to fab one. If the bolt holes in your bar match the 205 the cut/sleeve/reweld yours. If the holes don't match then you have to find one from a th350 or th400 (to 205) application and still modify it the same way.
