208 to 205

I think I might have found a 205 to fit in my 400 am trying to deal it out cheap. my question is what all needs to be done to complete the swap????????????????

You need to make sure it has the right spline count and that the adaptor will mate to the tranny. This is the single most important thing to check before doing this swap. Let us know if they are the same and the adaptor will work, then we can talk more details.

The two main things to worry about were listed above. If you can get the right version of the 205, it'll save you a lot of time and extra money. If you can't find the correct version there are various companies that manufacture and sell adapters and such.
