Whats the difference between the 2 t-cases? I have a 208 in the K5 now but I think its on its way out I may have the chance to get a 241 resonable price. Just was wounder what all will be needed to do the swap

Pretty much the same except for 241 has slightly lower gears, 241 Has internal lubrication pump to oil the front output, and you can do a SYE kit a lot easier on a 241 that a 208. 241 will bolt right in the place of a 208
90 and up 241 has electric speedo instead of the cable.

241 internals are a little bit stronger as well. plus everything he said.

Make sure you look at it first , or you ask the guy on the phone to look at it . The IFS trucks have the front output on the drivers side .

I had the unfortunate happen and had a friend drives miles to a yard for me , and the case was backwards .
