PO had no brace installed. I've picked one up that is about .25-.5" too short to the lower RT bellhousing bolt. I'm considering running a steel spacer this length between the brace and the bell and an appropriately longer 3/8 GR8 bolt to the block.
Q: I know this will create some additional leverage opportunity in the bell/block bolt but figure it's better than running no brace. Thoughts?
