What are my options here with the speedo? I might be buying a 91 case with a SYE. Is there something simple to swap to change the 91 to a mechanical speedo output? Can I just swap in a 90-91 gauge? What other problems am I going to run into with this?

I AM CURRENTLY GOING THROUGH SOME SIMILAR ISSUES. THERES A COMPANY IN CALIFORNIA THAT HAS A LOT OF SOLUTIONS FOR ISSUES WITH THE SPEEDO. THEY'RE CALLED STEALTH CONVERSIONS AND THE WEBSITE IS WWW.JTRPUBLISHING.COM. THEY WERE PRETTY HELPFUL ON THE PHONE FOR ME, THE PHONE NUMBER IS (925)462-3619

use the 91 t-case, get the 90/91 cluster w/connector, and the 90/91 drac w/connector, you may need to do a little soldering on the drac to calibrate it, but i can help you there, i did it to my 90

You have a 89' so what is wrong with the 241 you have now?
If you really want to run the 91' t-case just swap the tail section from your 89' onto the 91'.

Well I was just looking for ease of install, but it looks like he is going to keep his case now anyway so I'll just be buying a new SYE. Thnaks for the help anyways.:D
