Having a hell of a time figuring out the right part number for the gasket/seal between 700R4 adapter and a 241 case. I want to get this before I tear the thing apart. Anyone got part numbers? GM? Felpro? Autozone? Etc?

Between the adapter and 241 just use Ultra black RTV. That's what i've done both times i've had my case out and no leaks yet.

I am tempted to trust you, but I am dealing with leaks already and don't want to risk adding another one. Anyone else have some part numbers?

One other thing, make sure you change the input seal otherwise you'll overfill the t-case when the trans leaks ATF into the t-case. The factory seal is a double lip single seal and most aftermarket seals you have to use two seals back to back to create the double lip with one being backwards to the other.

I've personally always had leaks using RTV between my transmissions and transfer cases. I've been unsuccessful in finding a gasket for them (though I know they do exist!) so I've just resorted to making my own.

I usually take a cereal box, cut a hole in the center, use a ball peen hammer to punch the bolt holes out then use a sharp knife to trace around the outside edges. I install it with RTV on both sides, haven't had a leak while doing so, even flexing the snot out of my poor truck offroad.
