241 Question...

Made a nice score on a low mileage 241


Quick question, to replace this seal. Do I remove that retainer with the four small bolts? To make it easier.

hmm, wish i could tell you but i haven't had to mess with that end of my 241.

I'm sure somebody that knowswill chime in, i figured since it's out on the bench i will throw some new seals in the front and rear.

Yep, those four bolts. Then you'll need to seal the retainer back up to re-install, either a gasket or RTV.
