241 regear

I think JB conversions makes a 4 to 1 kit for the 241 but not for the chevy 241. I believe its for jeeps.

no one makes a regear kit for the 241. The Jeep Rubicons have 4:1 241s but you can't swap the gears and stuff to a Chevy 241. I know Dana 300s have 4:1 kits and NP231s but not 241s.

I've seen these, but the reference I saw was for the GM 241. I'll keep searching, if I find it I'll post.

Actually the Doubler would cost more if you dont have the correct trans and t cases. Nothing against the doubler but the 4 to 1 gearing for the 241 is actually lower gears then a Doubler. It really just comes down to what you prefer.

another disadvantage of the 241 regear is that you still only have a 2 speed transfer case...with 1:1 and 4:1 ratios.

with a doubler you get the regular low range.

and that 4:1 is transferred into that chain, thats a lot of stress for a chain people doubt before an upgrade. I guess I was wrong, I found one place that claimed someone sold a 241 kit but when I went to that places site all they had was 231 stuff.
