I am wanting to start building a dual transfer case system for my truck. I already have a 241. What else do i need? Thanks for the help.:waytogo: I am moving back home to Oklahoma soon and would love to be able to crawl around disney, in and out of the rivers, and crawl threw the woods with ease and with as little stress to my engine and transmission.

Check out the 241/205 doubler link in my signature. It has all the info for homebrewing a doubler.

Or you could just call up ORD...

They say.."We do have 241 kits available in 23, 31 and 32 spline for the main transfer case, chromoly steel US made.

We have them available for just about anything with a figure 8 (yes, 205's!) or round pattern on the front. Driver's or passenger side drop. For the 205's our kit is setup to shift out the front and provisions for that are included."
Thats from ORD.
Not sure who you talked to.
I guess i will email them. Sucks it friday night, i wont hear back until monday.

im talking about the 241, I have both a drivers drop and a passenger drop np241, I asked to find out which one will work with the doubler and they told me the drivers drop 241.

Im not sure if there post then was refering to the 241 or 205. I emailed them, so i guess i will see when they get back with me. Thanks for the heads up however. If i have to buy 2 transfer cases i might just wait.

The whole reason i built mine was because of the whole $$$$ thing. Because I can guarantee one thing, doublers are very expensive.

You either pay with money, or pay with time and frustration. I chose the later and don't regret a second of it.

I think onetonbb74 is correct, I asked the same question in the doubler comparison thread. See post 111. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=296400&page=12&highlight=Doubler+comparison

If you go that route, driver side drop 241's are a dime a dozen, so it should be easy and cheap to find one.

Well shoot, that just confirms it then. We dont really have any good "you pull it" yards around here. I will check craigslist. I checked ebay last night and people want a arm and a leg for one. So i am assuming i can use a passenger drop 205? Thanks for all the help by the way.

Yes, you will want a drivers side 241 and a passenger side (normal GM stuff) 205. Double check the info in that thread, but I think a 32 spline 205 is required but it can be figure 8 or round pattern, IIRC :D

Awesome. Thanks guys for all the help. I just called my grandfather and my dad, they are gonna start looking.
