alright it time to show you all what i have up to as you know there is a new buggy in the works and i just finished the 241 to 205 adapter giving me the following ratios 1-1 , 1.98-1 ,2.72-1 , and 5.38-1 thats right 4 speeds

1 the cutdown 241 weighs about 70 lbs less
2 the 203 ratio is 2-1 so you would only get 3 effective gear ratio's
3 203 conversions are old technology any one can do that
4 its a buggy thing you wouldn't understand

I'm in the works of doing one right now (though I haven't decided if I want to use a 231 or 241 front half, I have both).
DPI did it but he used an Atlas after the 241.
There are some clearance issues between the 231/241 and the 205 shift rails, basically you have to modify the front half of the reduction case a little more or make some long custom adapter and shaft like that guy did (at least, that's what it looks like he did).
I'll make a writeup when I get around to finishing mine, hopefully by the end of the summer.
