241 transfer..part time?

I had picked up an '89 jimmy , has the 350, 700r4, and the 241 transfer case. My question is...it has full time hubs on it-does this sound right?...and would I need a part time kit for the 241? Thanks.

They are auto hubs, not fulltime

The 241 is a part-time t-case. You can replace the hubs with manual locking hubs, but you don't have to do anything to the 241.

Gottcha!.....wasnt sure if it was like the 203 and auto hubs, where u had to put a part time kit in..if swaping to manual hubs. Thanks for the info!.

Auto hubs will leave you stranded when you need 4wd, don't ask me how I know
