241 vs 208

Any benefit of the 241 over the 208?

My 208 in my 86 k5 needs rebuilt and i don't really want a 205 right now due to just having built my driveshafts.

Would a 241 be better? Would it we a direct swap or is it a little longer/shorter?

Did the 241 come behind a 465?

241 better over 208 yes

direct swap yes if mech speedo unit found 1 year only if i recall

length is same.

32 spline input needed for 465 or th400 or 4l80-e trannys.

465 needs adaptor for 208 or 241 only and 465 to 205 is diffrent adaptor for shift rail clearence and also boss for shifter bolt.
