241 wont stop leaking?

How do you pull the breather tube out of a 241. I beleive that is were it is leaking. I had a pretty bad leak so I pullec the case and replaced all the seals. But I am still getting quite a bit of tranny fluid in my skid plate and it looks like it is coming from around the vent tube. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Maybe the seal between the tranny and T-case is bad...which would cause the 241 to become overfull regularly. Have you checked the tranny fluid level?

Did you reinstall the hose on the breater tube?

I had the same problem when i did my trans swap, didn't reinstall the hose and kept spraying fluid all over, put the hose back on and no problems since. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I replaced that seal as well as the one between the t case and adapter. But I will check My tranny fluid at lunch. It isnt coming out of the breather tube itself. But from all around it. The whole it plugs into.
