241C swap questions

My 241C is making noise so I will be swapping it out. My '90 has the electronic speedo but the used 241C I picked up has the mechanical speedo. What do I have to transfer from the original t-case to the replacement to keep the electronic speedo working?

Why didnt you just get a rebuild kit?

Time constraints. I will be rebuilding it this winter but need to drive it in the mean time.

Pretty sure you need to swap output shafts and everything that goes with it.
