246 241 swap, has 1st and 2nd but no 3rd or 4th

i have a 2000 tahoe sas'd that came with a 246 swapped it to a 241, ran the blk/grey pin f7 wire to ground with a switch and wired the vss on the tail shaft to the same color coded wires on the harness , does'nt matter if its in 2 hi 4 low or 4 hi it will shift from 1st to 2nd then when it shifts into 3rd seems like it goes in neutral, PLEASE HELP

I didnt do the swap you did but i did from the 263-241, sounds like the vss wires arent connected correctly. Does the speedo work, if it shifts from 1st to 2nd fine you would think the vss is connected correctly. Have to think about that one, sounds kind of strange since it shifts fine from 1-2.

I remember seeing brian over on gm full size having vss probs, look for brian z71. Also search thru the sites for that swap and ask the guys how they hooked it up.

There has to be plenty of guys that have done it, even look in the ifs section here or even over on pirate, there was a few sas trucks there.
