24hrs of lemons square body chevy?.... weight of a 1500 2wd short bed

I can't imagine it being any heavier then a crown vic or an old Benz. wow, this would be awesome! Do it!

I'd love to do the 24 hours of Lemons in anything with four wheels. 
I have a C1500 pick-up fully optioned, long bed, 6.2 diesel etc etc and it's 4800 lbs on an accurate scale with me in it and about 25 gallons of fuel.
6.2 is about 100 lbs more than a sbc
AC stuff has to be 50-75 lbs
PW and PDL is about 40 lbs
Carpet and other nonsense is about 50 lbs
Short bed is about 100 lbs lighter than a long bed
my truck has dual tanks too...gotta be about 75 lbs worth of crap even empty.
I'd say 4200 for a base short bed is about right with a small block.

- 1.6: Your Car May Be Destroyed at Any Time: In addition to accidents and other unfortunate boo-boos, one car may be selected by blind ballot of all teams for immediate removal and total destruction. It could be your car. It probably WILL BE your car. You'll have 30 minutes to yank out any safety items you want to rescue, and then it's toast. Them's the breaks. Don't bring it if you ain't OK with losing it.
Rule 1.6 is way more effective than a claimer engine rule.
