I tried searching but couldn't find anything about this. if i put the truck in 4wd with the hubs unlocked (2lo), will this cause any problems. Didn't seem to when i did it to trouble shoot my t-case but im just wondering if it will do anything long term.
 
It's probably wouldn't be an issue, but just keep in mind that you are at least doubling the torque output when in low range. But with it only being in "2lo" all of that torque is being transferred to the rear axle instead of being split between the front and rear. If you were hammering on it pretty hard then there is a much better chance to break something in either the rear shaft or axle.
