Looking at redoing some of my interior. Most of my seat belts are shot and it makes it tough with 3 little ones. Will be replacing the front seats with buckets out of a newer model with built-in belts.

My 2nd row is in decent shape minus the belts, but I really want head rests for safety. My '89 has none.

Do the' 90-91 2nd row seats have head rests?

Anyone fit new model 2nd row seats in?

Other options?

on the blazer the third row seats are a swap with after market brackets in between the wheel wells. You might check the width of the second row seats as you are in front of the wheel wells. i have never thought about it as I have a Blazer with the Tahoe third row and Silverado fronts.

2nd row is wider than 3rd. 2nd completely changed on the newer ones, but it still might be able to work. Hoping someone else has done it before.

I'm guessing it would be totally custom bracketry.

The burb through 91 was flat ish floor through the 2nd seats then bumps up at where the 2nd row piano hinge mounts.

The 92+ ones were totally different, as the floor continued flatter without a bump up until the front of the 3rd seat. Hence the recessed foot rest area for the 3rd seat, that gets covered by a hinged panel to create a "flat" cargo floor when the 2nd row seats are put down.

Long story short, it will be pretty custom, but should be doable.
