2wd 700R4, conver to 4wd?

Whats involved? Not planning it but my friend insists all you do is unbolt the tailhousing and bolt on the adaptor and tcase and go.

i asked this once before.it is more complicated than that,you have to disasemble the whole tranny,and replace the output shaft.
