2wd body on a 4x4 frame ??'s

ok i need to know if the trans tunner is the only thing i need to change to fit a 2wd body on a 4wd frame?

heres the plan:
86 2wd perfect body+


83 3/4t 8 lug 10b/sf14b/sm465/208/shot 6.2 bad body+


85 gmc k5 sm465/205/d60/ff14b 3" rancho soft ride


use body and engine of 2wd frame on the red truck and drivetrain on the k5.
so when im done ill have a 86 srw K30 with a 3" lift. Also when its all done ill have some parts up for sale basicaly k5 body parts and 83's drivetrain parts. what do yall think?

Well, you won't have a real K30, because the K30 frame is different in that it's taller, but your idea for the swap will work.

86 floor pan wont unbolt. its all one.

I would check the trany hump to make sure they are the same size.

I swapped a 81 2wd cab onto my 83 4wd truck and didn't notice any differences. just reused the trans hump from the 4wd for the shifter.
