My '69 Chevy 2wd pickup truck is leaning hard to the right. The difference is about 1" between left and right rear fenders and 1.5" between left and right front fenders. The rear leaf packs look good and have no cracks or broken leaves, and the coils are not broken either. What could be causing this massive lean?

could be a lot of things like an issue with the sway bar etc., assuming you still have one, :dunno: a popped hanger or end connector. Did it just do this or has it been like this a while?

It seems to be a recent issue. I swapped in a 383 stroker about 6 months ago and now I am noticing this lean as it sits in the garage. I'll check the hangers and sway bar.

I'm not much help, but all trucks lean.

I've had 2wd chevys my whole life and never have they been even. One even swapped springs around.

Remember, your dealing with some of the weakest frames.ever made and old x year of springs

Btw, what year is the truck

It's a 1969, it had the link bars with coils, but my father-in-law swapped it to leafs a while back.

My 71 leans an inch as well. I've swapped springs, measured everything I can think of and it's still there. The best I can come up with is a bent frame and I've heard a lot of the same complaints over the years.
