Anyone know how much body lift is need for this? The truck in question is a running a TH350 with a NP203 case and were putting a C10 cab on it but I also have the original cab off this K10 truck and it had a bolt in hump and I took it out, but wondering how much body lift it would take to clear everything with replacing the tranny hump?

My truck's VIN is a C10 and it's on a K10 frame. It was like that from the previous owner. It has a 3" body lift and a TH400/205 w/ no problems. The TCase shifter comes through a hole in the tranny tunnel.

The only reason we were considering not using the 4wd transmission tunnel was because the one from the K10 is not in the best shape and is a bit rusty and since were doing a body swap putting on a lift kit would be pretty easy and their not too expensive so we were thinking about going that route instead.

mine is a 79 k20 ish frame with a 86 c10 cab i have no body lift just cut hole in floor bolted in new hump for 4x4 truck with 465 and wala no problem whatso ever the 4x4 one is higher i believe
