Badges still say K5, but they're C10. Pretty sure they were gone by the time of the R/V.

from what i read I think they stoped production on the 2wd blazer in 83. So they never made a R1500 blazer?

True true...although i think the last year for a 2wd was 1982. I currently have a 79 in very ruff form and a 78 i drove home a week or so ago....no comments from the peanut gallery aaron....

So what are your plans for it? I was thinking of turning my 79 into a prerunner someday. fabtech makes a 3" lift for the 2wds

How hard would it be to convert a 4wd to 2wd? the 2wd's are hard to find around here. I have a 83 c1500 truck with no body that i could use for the conversion.dremu said:You get more Blazers, I'll stick with less. I just want to have all of my trucks RUNNING

A lot of the 1st gen blazer guys have turned perfectly good 4x4's into 2wds because the 1st gen 2wd blazer isnt exactly a common creature. Check out www.67-72chevytrucks.com

There is an '82 (I think) 2wd for sale here in Pensacola. It's brown with a black top. From far away it looks good but I dont know what he wants for it.
