3/4 ton status
Anyone going 2wd to 4x4... I'm going the other way. I need a set of stockers, 1.25" rotors motor, 73 to 87 (91) I just need the spindles and nothing else.

there is a difference between '73 and '82 front brakes on a 1/2 ton 2wd... I don't know what year they made the change but calipers & backing plates are definitly different. I found this out the hard way trying to swap '82 stuff onto my old '73 on the side of the road once.

81 I think... so 81 to 87(91) then
I can actually run a 88 to 98 light 3/4 ton spindle as thats the rotor i'm swapping over to get a matching 6 lug front with disc to keep my stock 6 lug rear. but then the upper ball joints don't match...LOL dang chevies
