hey there im doing x-over steering, and am still in need of a 2wd steering box. will just swapping in a 2wd sector shaft into my 4wd box work? if so what do i need to do to get it to work?

thanks,
james

If you like the box you have, just get a 2wd shaft. It's a direct replacement.

Is there any adjustment needed when doing this or is do you literally just drop it in and go?

Shouldn't be any adjustment, just undo the four bolts on the top of the box and the pitman arm. I just pointed the wheels straight, pulled the old one, oriented the new one the same way, and dropped it in.

Same hear, way easier than pulling boxes. Left both boxes attached to the frames.

so the 2wd sector shaft is all i need right, and its a direct replacement?

its pretty straight foward, the only thing to remember is one may need more or less sector adjustment than the other ( the 5/8 nut and allen key stud on the top cap)
