Mounted my new/rebuilt 2wd steering box, and hooked up my crossover last weekend...

Apparently i need a bolt to hold the steering arm on the steering box???

Anyone got a size of that bolt... :doah:

All 2WD boxes I have seen use a nut to retain the steering arm. The 4wd uses a bolt.

Does your need a bolt?

Ah, "nut" is not the same word as "bolt."

They're a stupid size and pitch -- search for "2wd steering box nut" -- and you'll either hafta get it from a junkyard, the dealer, or maybe McMaster or Grainger or the like. You won't find it at a hardware store anyway.

do what I did. go the junkyard and take one off a truck. thats the quickest and cheapest way.
