2wd Steering Box

    What years work for doing crossover?

    All years of 2wd box will work. You want to match your new box to your old lines. The change was around 80 (from inverted flare to o-ring), so you will want an 80-up box for your 90. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    And that includes the new body style C/Ks?

    No, I think they mount to the frame different than our trucks do. I can look on my 97 to confirm, but you should easily find a 2WD box 80-87.

    If you can't find on that has the same hose fitting then you can just swap the sector shaft. That's the only difference. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

    that was so easy.. although I didnt expect that much of a mess.. had to get the power washer out... /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif
