What are some id marks that a 2wd steering box have that differs from a 4wd box. Thanks
 
2wd pitman arm is retained by a large nut on the end of the shaft. The arm is also pointed rearward.

4wd pitman arm is retained by a pinch bolt, clamping the arm on the shaft. No large nut. Pitman arm is pointed at drivers side tire.

A 2wd and 4wd box are the exact same with the exception of the sector shaft that is used which relates to which style of pitman arm is attached as nvrenuf said.
