2wd SWB truck, 86-87

Testing the waters... Also willing to look at early 80's+ carbed trucks.

I'd like to find a 2wd swb truck no motor, no tranny. Prefer the tbi years so I can just swap motors. Or if I can locate a frame, rust free cab and bed I might could work with that. Just testing the waters to see what I can find. The closer to Pensacola, FL. the better.

WA state is probably too far, but there is a decent '76 2wd stepside that runs and drives (6 cyl, 3 spd) for $500 on I've seen recently.

I'm just trying to pass it off before I run out and buy it and my wife tries to kill me... Then again it would be the perfect first vehicle for my step son but he is only 11 at this point.
