2wd to 4wd thread

Can someone direct me to a thread where someone has done a complete detailed build of a 1973-1987 2wd truck converted to a 4wd truck. I have a one ton that is 2wd that if I am keeping i want to convert it to 4wd.

I know its a lot, im not looking for step by step how to, but if someone has already done it, it will really help me game plan and get started.

Im trying to wrap my mind around the scope of the project.

here's my fav so far..I'm using it as a guide for my 'burb conversion

all I need is a FUSH kit from ORD and some springs and I can get busy wid it
