yeah the tailshaft should unbolt right off. and that will make it a 4wd. BUT it depends on what transfercase you want to run that will make it work or not.
i cant remember exactly but i tried to run a 205 on a 400 that was set up for the 208 case and it wouldnt work cause the shaft was to short and the trans guy said that if i put in a standard 2wd tailshaft that it would work. or it was the other way around.
do some measuring or hopefully someone else will explain what im trying to say better
