I am looking into putting a 3/4 or 1 ton rear end in my blazer, I am just wondering if anyone can give me advise on which rear end would be the best to use if i am swapping out my 10 bolt, and what do i need to replace parts wise?

3/4 ton and 1 ton 14 bolt full floater rearends are mechanically the same, they only differ in the dimensions of the spring pads and shock locations. The 3/4 ton will bolt in but the 1 ton requires modifications to the axle, so stick with the 3/4 ton one. Also make sure you get a full floater, starting in the early 80s some 3/4 tons got the semi floating 14 bolt, you don't want that one. Check the axle spotters guide in the tech section, accesible from the CK5 home page.
