Anyone have any lines on something? 1/2" stuff is no problem. I need to pass two 3/4 ID heater hoses with coolant through the floor of my Tahoe for a diesel fired auxiliary heater it has installed in it. Despite multiple searches I haven't found anything suitable.

hardware store plumbing section maybe ?

or big rig truck shop has metal fittings for frame pass threw and there pipe fitting .

You mean like this?..

I looked on google ,but didn't see any in steel or brass, just plastic..but I didn't look too long or hard either..

I've made similar things by using large bolts, and drilling them all the way though and tapping them with NPT threads..you could use twp pipe floor flanges maybe too,by tapping them with a pipe tap so a fully threaded nipple can be screwed thru both of them tightly and then bolted together..or tap the I.D. of a 1" pipe nipple with a 3/4" NPT tap and use conduit lock nuts to secure it to the floor, and barb fittings in the pipe ends in the tapped holes..

That in steel or brass would be ideal! I'll probably wind up fitting something together to make it work...

I've seen brass or stainless ones on boats before, for things like bilge pumps--I bet Ryoken knows where to source one...

Found this one on a google image search listed under "Marine bulkhead fittings"...

What about AN stuff instead of barbed? Gregg distributors carries all that stuff, as well as many other places in town. Eaton/Aeroquip FCM2075 is a -12 bulkhead union that might work for you.

Call Kayman industries in San Diego. We get all of our weird fittings from them.

If you need I'll go get them and mail them to you.

I'd have to look thru our books at work to find a straight barb to barb bulkhead in 3/4..... 3/8 is readily available... it may be a Buck-Algonquin item for me...

as mentioned, you could run an to an, than just put a female an to 3/4 barb hose-end on each side...

i'll try to remember to peak thru my books tomorrow...

it's probably 3/8's.. readily available, 3/4", not so much...

The listing said it was 3/4" to 3/4"...:dunno:..

I tried linking to the page I was on ,but it comes out as "webpage, complete" instead of a JPEG file,it wont load...if your using google chrome, you can right click on the image, and choose "find this image on google",and it will bring you right to the web page I found the listing on..

I even saw 3/8" to 3/8" ones listed in Walmart's online sales site!..:eek1:..never thought they would carry something like that..

I can grab it for you locally and ship it if you want. I'm VERY spoiled with a local hose/fitting supply place that has (and I don't say this lightly) just about EVERYTHING a guy could ever want.

I needed the same thing when I was passing the heater hoses through my firewall on my crawler...

That would also work really well. In fact, swap two of the straight fittings with 90 degree fittings and that would be even better than straights on both ends.

How much would you need to source two such assemblies for me?

Yeah we could do that, straights on one side and 90's on the other.
I remember they don't give them away but I can't imagine I paid much for them. Maybe $20 a set.

If it's what you end up needing and can't find it cheap from some online place let me know and I'll grab them. They are right down the street from where I work.
