3/4 ton 14FF 4.10's Gov lock in CA

Ok, I have a 91 3/4 ton suburban. 10 bolt front, 14sf rear, 3.73's.

I need to upgrade to 4.10's, so i need any of the following:

Used gears for 10 bolt front or 14sf rear
Used 14bolt FF wiht 4.10's
14bolt SF Locker/limited slip/selectable
14bolt FF locker/limited slip/selectable.

Also, someone local and dependable that might want to make some $$$ installing gears.

My axles are in good shape, so might end up just regearing them, just want to see what's out there.

if you go full floater detriots are cheaper for them as the military trucks used them, and 4.10 ratios arent hard to find. i almost bought a 14 semifloater that had 4.10s and was gonna try and get a set of 3.73s for it, so if i end up buying it ill let you know.

As long as you have a little time on your hands, maybe we work a gear trade.

I drive this truck on the street almost exclusively, so probably won't run a detroit. I just have a hard time opening up that pumpkin and not adding a traction aid, as i learned the limits of the factory locker quickly last snow season. When its not towing during the summer, its shuttling me up and down the hill in the winter. Really need to sac up and buy an elocker, but dont' want to do that for teh SF axle. And it continues.....
 
k, ill let you know if i pick it up. He only wanted 60 for the rear and its from a 95 3/4, i wanted it for if i ever converted my clean 83 to a 4x4.
 
I have a 14 bolt FF 4.10 ratio and i have a 14 bolt posi (clutch type)
and a 10 bolt front 4.10 ratio all out of a 1980 3/4 suburban.

was asking $250 for the pair of rears and $250 for the 14 bolt posi.

Only problem is i am in east tennessee...37745 Thats a long road trip for you..
 
Just the gears for teh 14ff? I currently have an SF. What do you want for the gears for the front only? What condition are they in?
 
This was a daily driver untill i took it apart to use motor in another truck.

I would really like to keep it whole. If someone dont get them soon,I am going to put them under something..

I do have a set of 4.10 gears with GOVLOC for a 14bSF, and I have a front 10bolt axle with no outers.

And i think i know where you got that 4.10 front......:doah:

May be in touch over the front.
 
I don't know if your still looking but I have a set of 4.10 gears and a clutch style posi for a 10bolt
 
Ok, picked up a matched set. 10 bolt front, 14ff rear, both open, 4.10's.

Debating converting the backing plates to teh newer style, and adding a limited slip vs. finding a newer 14ff with teh right plates and gov lock.

Anyone have a 3/4 ton 14FF with gov lock and 4.10s?

Realized what i'm looking for is VERY specific.

Need:

14FF
3/4 Ton Perches
Clip in ebrake cable style backing plates (Newer of the 80s)
4.10's
Gov Lock.

Anyone got anything? Willing to do some driving to pickup this weekend.

Going to be in sac.....
