3/4 ton axles

On solid axle Chevys, they're 8 lug.

There were some light duty 3/4 ton Chevy's in the 90's that used the 6 lug pattern.

I hate the 15" wheels on mine. With 39.5" Iroks, there is too much side wall on the tire so sway in corners really sucks and I hated having to grind the calipers(on the 3/4 ton 10 bolt and the 60), Going to 17s with the next tire purchase. Much better IMO.

less backspacing will cure the grinding, but will also make the wheels stick out further and catch on everything.

i will be grinding on my next set.

thanks everyone. just planning everything out and not trying to waste money on 6 lug rims if not needed.

I won't be running anything near that size tire, so the 15's are nearly perfect, IMO. I looked at the 17's but there isn't a good selection of 35's in that wheel, that's why I will stick with 15's.

I will probably stick with the Bigfoot X/T's I currently have. Quiet on the road, and fairly agressive for mud and rocks. Pretty decent tires so far.
