Hey guys after a 1 1/2 years of taking a break to learn cad etc it's finally time to get back on my blazer and build my dana60. I have all my parts except the brakes.

I keep seeing these 3/4 ton kits everywhere. Is it worth it to switch to dodge brakes or whatever? Or should i just get the stock k30 brakes?

I think 2 reasons people swap to smaller brakes .

Clear 15 inch rims . But if 2.5 to 3.0 backspace they clear 60 brakes .

Less messing with master cylinder size to be correct with all 1ton .

3rd might be a little less weight .

If i was going to do brakes i would UPGRADE to newer 2 piston calipers and bigger rotors and do 17" or maybe 18" rims .

I have 17" rims with beadlocks welded to them and I already have hydro boost ready to install. Looks like I'm gonna get the brackets from torque motorsports and hes giving me a list of the dodge stuff to get locally so I can save on shipping (175lbs) etc. Thanks for the feedback so quickly man.

let us know how it goes .

i have a truck i want to do this upgrade to since i will be doing 40" tires and just want big bad a$$ brakes on it .
