The owner also said he sold one them rear axles (corp 14) out of a wrecked dually he had for $700 by itself.

Im thinking hes either full of the poo, or either someone dosn't know what 14 bolts are worth and he ripped them off.

I wouldn't say anyone was ripped off. To some people, a 14 bolt dually axle may be worth $700, especially someone using it on a work truck or something who is looking at a lot more money to fix his old one. Most people don't know what things are worth, and they are looking at the "new" versus used cost of replacement.
