3/4 ton question

what is the biggest tire i could run with my stock 1974 K-20 axles??? the rear is a 14FF and the front is a dana44. any info will help. thanx!!!

im not sure about yours but im running
32s on a stock 89' toyota
33s on a 98' chevy tahoe
and 33s on a 86' chevy 1500 longbed

and so far the only major truble has been with the tahoe i blew the tranny and the rearend at the same time and the worst part was that i was on pavement in the midle of town

depends on your lift and how much you cut off... you could probably safely run 39.5's but that is probably pushing it. Not knowing your gear ratio. so on and so forth. if you do a search this topic has been talked about hundreds of times.

i used to run 38.5" swampers on my 3/4 ton saburban with a 10" lift and 4.10gears. the only problems i had with that was minor fender rubing in the front and i blew a tranny. sorry to say the burban was wrecked.

thanxz. i'll probley go with an 8" lift and some 37s. how do u blow the trans and rear axle @ the same time???

lol i have no clue. ... i sort of jumped the truck on a curb and when i landed it all just snaped lots of loud noises at the same time.
