please please tell me that 3/4 ton front springs will fit on a 1/2 ton?!!??? it was my bday friday, and my dad wanted to get me new front springs cuz mine are really sagging. well since its a diesel, he wanted something beefier. so what the paper says its "Chevy/GMC 1973-87 truck and suburban 3/4 ton 4x4 4" Heavy Duty Suspension lift kit w/ rear blocks" They are from www.SuspensionConnection.com so the springs are Tuff Country EZ-Rides. but since my K5 is a 1/2 ton, will they fit? i dont see why they wouldnt?

thank you thank you!! i was kinda worried they wouldnt fit. do u think there will be any difference being a 3/4 ton spring ex. maybe more "heavy duty" and wont sag as quick? "Heavy Duty leaf springs recommended for vehicles with big block engines or snow plows" <-from the website

they have an extra leaf and have a slightly higher spring rate than the standard ones, so no they wont sag nearly as quickly

A 3/4 ton lift kit will have a larger u-bolt for the rear to work with a 14 bolt axle. If you have a 10 bolt or 12 bolt rear axle you may need new u-bolts.

im not going to be using the rear blocks. my dad is gonna toss them on his 81 3/4ton.. so it'll work out for the both of us.. since he has the 14sf..
