3/4 vs. 1 ton

not asking about drive train but frame and suspension. Is a 1 ton frame's metal thicker than it's little brother? Is it's suspension any heavier duty than the 3/4?

yes, then 1 ton uses thicker metal, right behind the cab and under the bed the frame is taller for added strength and suspension is stiffer... pretty much all around stonger quote the name 1ton
