3.73 carrier work with 4.10 gears on a 14bff??

I did a search, but could not find anything. I want to change the gears in my 14bff from 3.73 to 4.10 and just want to make sure that the 3.73 carrier will work, or do I need the "thick" 4.10 gears??

The carrier break for 14 bolts is 4.10 and down, 4.56 and up. So 3.73s will work fine on any 14 bolt that had 4.10s and vise versa. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

It'll work fine Travis. You don't have to worry about thick gears unless you go with 4.56's, 4.88's, or 5.13's. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif What tires and tranny are you planning to run?
