3 inch body lift w/ SM465

Im converting my 74 from a th350/203 to a 465/205. My question is this, when I did the 3 inch body lift I of course had to extend the shifter linkage for the auto, will I have to extend the clutch rod from the pedal to the pivot on the frame or can I get away with just re drilling a hole in the clutch pedal itself and moving the rod down

possibly, but this will also make the clutch very heavy on your left leg. I have found that 2" is the max and even that requires some clearancing of the rod through the floor as well as some adjusting to the linkage.
