In my shop. Doing stuff.
Went to RAM Off Road park for a charity event. We were guessing over 100 vehicles showed up. Beautiful weather and a lot of fun.

70Jimmy was riding with me. We had to stop part way through to tell a Jeep he was on the speed course, going the wrong way.:doah:

That is really cool to watch! Thanks for posting. It definitly shows how well your design works. Could you clarify for me that I am seeing the upper link on the driver side? It looks to me as you made it hug the side of the oilpan somewhat. I assume so that it gets as far as possble to the center of the axle? I really wish I could have looked at it more when you stopped by here.

Your Jimmy is one of the most badass rigs on this site haha! You've got that front suspension tuning down solid. My front suspension would not look anything as nice as that if I took a video up front...

I also love the fact that you are rocking a 10 bolt and don't break it!

Yes, the upper link is drivers side. I have to run a 8.1 litter oil filter from an 02 Tahoe to get clearance.

It is insanely smooth. Those watching the jumps see dukes of hazard style flying through the air, but inside it is smooth. Never a hard hit, never bottom out, just one light impact and never a bounce after that.

From the passenger seat you sky over a jump and brace for impact but it never comes. You land then feel the suspension go from compressed to back to ride height under control. No rebound or anything. You know the tires are jumping up and down but it doesn't affect the body.

It was a blast!!!!

It's too bad I have to drive it to work tomorrow. I would have ran a little harder. Would have tried the double.

That is way to cool, how high do you think the jimmy got off the ground?

Not bad for a daily driver. :pimp:

Freekin awesome. Funny to see that keep on the side half way through. I wish you had a side by side view with the actual jump and the under shot like you have here. I rember the other vid 70jimmy put up before. That works really good.

Why didn't you use regular crossover? (and what do you call this solution? :o)
Was it because you could get a better mount for the panhard bar on the driver side of the axle, without having the pumpkin in the way?
