3 or even 4 Frames

The 2 frames thread got me to thinking that you could just stack up frames for what ever amount of lift you wanted.

Maybe even cut one in half if you only wanted a 2.5 or 3.5 or even a 5.5 frame lift.

you think the way two stacked frames was discussed/attacked...that stacking any higher will result in better comments?

i guess i'm going to weld 8'' channel to frame standing up, w/crossmember between the channel and box the frame in those areas, and then just move body mounts up....it was suggested, and is indeed less labor involved, but just don't see how body up on stilts like that would be stronger/safer, than puttin another frame on top, the way i described....reason, i decided this route...quicker and easier, plus i'm not adding as much weight!

This is a good idea.....

With a 4 frame stack you could fit a MASSIVE C-notch out back and really "lay frame" with the lowrider crowd.... even on 38's

Then just pump up the airbags like those "Jamboree" show guys and make it over 12 feet tall.

Not only the laying frame part but think of the off-road performance you could get if you had control of each airbag and could raise and lower the whole truck or just one side.

Wow.

Who would have thought that by stacking frames you could get so much versitility and performance.

Dude, use the old school trick of putting valve springs between the frames for a better ride.

Imma talk my boss out of his skidder when we're done logging and imma put a truck cab on it. It will surely articulate then and i'll have alot of ground clearance also seeing as how the tires are 5 foot tall
