3" thick heater core

I went to replace my heater core on my '70 Jimmy and found the new one is only 2" thick. The original is 3" thick. Has anyone else had this problem and if so did you find a source for a 3" one?

After measuring it myself and not the autozone guy it is only 2 1/2 inches. I still don't want to use a 2"

Maybe try LMC. I think they carry alot of parts for that era GMC.

I already looked at LMC and Year One and they only have the 2"
