Love the look of these tires I wish they came in 35x10.5r16. You guys are off to a good start! :popcorn:
Sorry for the derail but I am in the same boat trying to find the biggest narrow tire to have on the rear dually in my crew cab build. Did you find any in 16" rims?
I found one in 17"

So far the largest would be a 33x11r16 that is 285/75r16 or spend the money on 17" wheels for a 285/75r17 that will only measure 34x11.5r17.
Unfortunately to go large interco has the market locked but the rumor of poor casting and major balancing issues turns most people away. They do however offer their Tsl SSR-41R whick is 35x10.5r16 which is a radial and noted to have a tighter tread pattern for a quieter onroad duty. For now that's what I will get after I wear out my boggers that howl at the moon.

Cool I found the first 2 you listed but the 3rd one is better for what I want. And an inch larger.
I am limited with my rpms and need bigger to get 75mph that will do it

Let me know how the SSR-41R looks, balances and performs. I can't find anything from anyone who has run them. I'm sure they're better than my boggers tho
 
did some looking today and found the right rear brake was way out of adjustment and still wouldn't turn and roll .

so i took the drum off and found out she needs a lot of love . i guess the seller of the axle back in the day didnt tell as much truth on its condition . oh well no big deal easy fix .already stoped and got master hardware kit / 2 wheel cylinders / 2 master adjuster kits / and a set of shoe's .

we are keeping the drums for the easy factory parking brake setup . and he wont be doing a tone of mud play . and if we do i will make him rinse the drums out .

1 day makes a big change in the condition of the rear brakes .

also got the new ORD 4" flip kit coming and a new rear brake hose as his old one was torn up from the hard winters around here but the front were still good .. go figure ? ?

the rear 56" springs we might remove a few leafs to make it a little softer pack over the 3/4 ton spec they are now as the blazer only has 4 leaf + overload 52" in there now .

some parts showed up at sweetk30's shop today . looks like were doing suspension this weekend .

ORD 4" flip kit for the k5-1/2-3/4 ton frame spacing .
ORD rear brake hose . we went the next size longer to eliminate any extra spacer brackets like we had on the old 1ton frame .

going to flip the ORD brackets side to side sweetk30 said for the 56" springs were using . then its all out and drop in the drive-line and get her fired up and running and measure for the rear shaft .

rear hangers are off and ready for the ORD flip kit and 56" rear springs . got a jump start as he is bringing one of the boys with him sunday and figure no major loud noises like a air hammer .. ... :eek::ears::eek:

also ready to drop the drive-line down in the frame . i am going to let him have the fun of drilling the spot welds from the bolt in floor hump thats spot welded down so we can make his a bolt in style .

Dropped the fuel tank to make it easier to get to rear hanger hardware, not used to working on something with as little rust as this, straps and tank are in great shape

Rear springs in place, will likely remove a couple out of the stack, originally intended to use these in my k30

Shocks and braces mounted to frame, still need to burn the spring perches and shock tabs to axle

Probably the biggest pain of the evening was removing the doghouse in prep for the Nv4500, lots of glue and randomly located spot welds... At least it will be easy to remount it with all the through holes

We'll have to stick one of your light bars on it - not sure how long they'll be up there but I'm sure my boys will love it!

bye bye old school v-belt and hello serp belt on this old 400 sbc .

had a bottomed out and bound up and broken off head 3/8" bolt in the front of the block were i needed a bolt to go . took 2 nuts to get it out . 1st was good but she was still to tight . so the block and nub were heated up good 5-6 times glowing red on the bolt nub then welded on the 2nd nut and she come right out . chased the threads and all good . had to swap the serp belt t-stat housing in also to make the upper rad hose clear the alt .

then she was about ready to go in her new home .

serp belt system is from i think a 1994 s-10 blazer 4.3 tbi engine . i pulled it a few years ago for his old k30 truck and now getting around to the install . its got a almost new water pump and 100amp alt on it also . then the saved diesel 6.2 remote resivor p/s pump will be bolted on and pulley pressed in place .

also swapped the fan studs for bolts with lock washers . were going electric fan he said . and no a/c on this ride so the delete pulley kit was added and 1 idler pulley removed that was noisy anyway .
