Is the seal for the yoke the same for a 32 and 30 spline front output on a 205??

Good question... but if it's not, shouldn't be too hard to make the hole a bit bigger.

You ARE talking about the seal under the yoke nut, right?

No im talking about the seal the yoke goes into.

There's a seal under the nut?

I've never seen that. I have had to use RTV on the splines to keep gear oil from seeping out but I can't imagine how a seal would work under the nut for the yoke.

The seal ID is usually going to be different. The determining factor is the Yoke OD. No worries though, if you're doing a swap and the seal isn't correct just measure the OD of the seal, the width of the seal and then the diameter of the yoke/flange you're going to use and then hit up a parts store and they can get you the proper seal using those dimensions.

Oh, if you're talking about the serrated seal that goes on the shaft after you've slid the yoke on those are different. They are either 30 spline serrated or 32 spline serrated.

Brain fade, of course the splined seals are different... they're splined! wow. Too many bumps today I guess.

Sorry guys. 4x4High has actual information. Sheesh.

*skulks away into the corner again* :D
